Firefighters helped protect Tottenham Hotspur merchandise at a warehouse blaze in East Duck Lees Lane in Ponders End yesterday.
At the height of the incident 12 fire engines and 81 firefighters and officers were called to a fire on an industrial estate .
Part of the ground floor, first floor and roof of a warehouse were damaged by the fire.
London Fire Brigade Deputy Assistant Commissioner Andy Hearn who was at the scene said:
“The quick actions and aggressive firefighting by our crews has saved part of the warehouse unit including protecting Tottenham Hotspur merchandise and neighbouring buildings.
"The blaze could be seen from miles around London and firefighters remain at the scene this (Friday) morning damping down pockets of fire."
The Brigade was called at 0913 and the fire was under control at 1159. Fire crews from Enfield, Chingford, Edmonton, Woodford, Tottenham, Southgate and other surrounding fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
