Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a flat on Pincott Place in Brockley yesterday afternoon (Sunday, 15 October).
Most of a ground floor four-roomed flat was damaged by fire in the block of flats.
Two people left the property before the Brigade arrived and another four people evacuated from neighbouring properties. All were assessed at the scene by London Ambulance Service.
The Brigade was called at 1553 and the incident was over by 1744. Fire crews from New Cross, Peckham, Lewisham and Deptford fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
