Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a house in Devonshire Way in Croydon yesterday evening.
Part of the first floor and all of the roof of the property were damaged by fire. Part of the roof of an adjacent house also suffered some fire damaged.
The Brigade was called at 2115 and the fire was under control at 2353. Fire crews from Woodside, Addington, Beckenham, Croydon and Bromley fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
