Two fire engines and 10 firefighters and officers were called to a car alight in Stratton Road in Romford this morning.
One car was destroyed in the blaze. One 90 kilogram aceteleyne cylinder and one 90 kilogram oxygen were cooled to an ambient temperature.
The Brigade was called at 0456 and the fire was under control at 0639. Fire crews from Harold Hill and Romford fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
