Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to a fire at a shop with flats above in Eversholt Street, Mornington Crescent.
The whole of the ground floor was gutted by fire. The blaze also damaged a small amount of the first floor flat.
The Brigade was called at 1817 and the fire was under control at 2041. Fire crews from Euston, Kentish Town, Soho, Islington, Holloway, and West Hampstead fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
