Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a house converted into bedsits on Esmond Road, Kilburn.
The whole of a bedsit on the first floor was destroyed by fire. Two people left the property before the arrival of the Brigade. Thankfully there were no injuries.
The Brigade was called at 2252 and the fire was under control at 2337. Fire crews from West Hampstead and North Kensington fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
