Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a house in Pinson Way in Orpington.
More than half of the first floor of an end of terraced house was damaged by the fire. Seven people left the property before the arrival of the Brigade. One woman was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 1245 and the fire was under control at 1345. Fire crews from Orpington and Sidcup fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
