Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to a fire at a restaurant with flats above on Brompton Road, Chelsea.
Around half of the restaurant was damaged by fire. Thirty people left the building before the arrival of the Brigade, while other residents stayed in their unaffected flats.
The Brigade was called at 0322 and the fire was under control at 0434. Fire crews from Chelsea, Kensington, Fulham, Battersea, and Soho fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
