Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a house converted into maisonettes in Wemyss Road in Blackheath.
Part of a maisonette on the lower ground and ground floors of the building was damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 1435 and the fire was under control at 1530. Fire crews from East Greenwich, Lee Green and Lewisham fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
