Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a shop with flats above in Hanworth Road, Hounslow.
Part of the ground floor, almost half of a flat on the first floor, a small part of the roof and all the ducting from the ground floor to the roof were damaged in the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1115 and the fire was under control by 1306. Fire crews from Heston, Feltham, Twickenham, Southall and Ealing fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
