Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a recycling depot in Harlington Road, Uxbridge.
Around 60 tonnes of recycling and refuse materials were destroyed by fire.
The Brigade was called at 1938 and the fire was under control at 2119. Fire crews from Hillingdon, Heathrow and Southall fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
