Two fire engines and 10 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a house converted into flats in Shooter's Hill, SE18.
A small part of a four-roomed flat on the first floor was damaged by the fire. One woman left the property before the Brigade arrived and was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews suffering smoke inhalation. One man was also taken to hospital suffering smoke inhalation.
The Brigade was called at 2317 and the fire was under control at 0022. Fire crews from Plumstead attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
