Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers have been called to a fire at a house in Ramillies Road in Sidcup.
Part of the ground and first floor of the property was damaged by fire. A range of outbuildings in the rear garden were also damaged.
A man left the property before fire crews arrived. He was suffering from smoke inhalation and treated by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade’s 999 control officers took 19 calls to the fire.
The Brigade was called at 1354 and the fire was under control by 1536. Fire crews from Plumstead, Bexley and Sidcup fire stations are at the scene.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
