Firefighters were called to assist Network Rail and the British Transport Police with evacuating passengers from two trains at Lewisham station this evening.
The trains lost power outside of the station and crews helped lead people from the carriages to the platform.
The Brigade was called at 1920 and the incident was over for us at 2218. Four fire engines from Lewisham, Greenwich, Lee Green and Deptford fire stations and a fire rescue unit attended the scene.
