Two engines and 10 firefighters and officers were called to a burst water main at the junction of Woodbury Street and Tooting High Street, Tooting, this morning.
The junction was flooded to a depth of 30cm. Firefighters laid sandbags to protect 12 properties in the area.
Local road closures were in place.
The Brigade was called at 0427 and the incident was over for firefighters at 0701. Fire crews from Tooting fire station attended the scene.
