Ten fire engines and 72 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a bungalow in Whitton Waye in Whitton.
A bungalow and garage were destroyed by fire. A single storey workshop and two sheds were also damaged by fire.
Approximately 23 people were evacuated from neighbouring premises as a precaution.
The Brigade was called at 1110 and the fire was under control at 1233. Fire crews from Heston, Southwall, Feltham, Twickenham, Richmond and other surrounding fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
