Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a house converted into flats in Brecknock Road, Tufnell Park.
Part of the roof of the semi-detached property was damaged by the fire. Three people left the building before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 2031 and the fire was under control at 2137. Fire crews from Kentish Town, Holloway and Euston fire stations attended the scene.
The Brigade’s fire investigators believe the cause of the fire was a halogen light overheating and igniting insulation, wiring and timber joists.
