Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a flat on Roan Street, Greenwich.
A small part of a fourth floor flat was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 0833 and the fire was under control at 0927. Fire crews from Greenwich, Deptford, and East Greenwich fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
