Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a house fire in Viola Avenue in Feltham.
Part of the ground floor was damaged by fire.
One man was rescued by firefighters using a ladder and he was treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service.
The Brigade was called at 2325 and the fire was under control at 0030 on Saturday (November 4). Fire crews from Feltham and Heston fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
