Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a recycling warehouse in Thames Road in Crayford.
Around 200 mattresses and part of a mechanical digger were damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1729 and the fire was under control at 1938. Fire crews from Bexley and Plumstead fire stations attended the scene as well as colleagues from Kent Fire and Rescue Service.
