Firefighters dealt with a small fire in a block of flats on Len Freeman Place in Fulham, SW6 this morning.
Part of the front door of a flat on the ground floor was damaged by fire. There was some smoke damage to the stairway and corridors from the ground to second floor. Around 20 people escaped from the building before firefighters arrived on the scene. Three people were treated on the scene by London Ambulance Service.
The Brigade was called at 0910 and the fire was under control by 1015.
Four fire engines and 25 firefighters from Fulham, Hammersmith and Kensington were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
