Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to a fire at a tyre workshop on Maidstone Road in Sidcup.
A tyre workshop and around 100 tyres were destroyed by the blaze. There were no reports of any injuries.
Watch Manager Tom Pawley, who was at the scene, said: "Firefighters were faced with a well developed fire when they got to the scene.
"Crews worked hard to quickly bring the blaze under control."
The Brigade was called at 2147 and the fire was under control at 2350. Fire crews from Sidcup, Orpington, Bexley and Eltham fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
