Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to a burst water main on Raleigh Road in Feltham.
A large area of the road, as well as several surrounding roads, were flooded to a depth of 50cm.
The Brigade was called at 0445 and the incident was over for firefighters at 1255. Fire crews from Feltham, Heston, Wembley, Richmond and Ruislip fire stations were on scene.
