Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a flat in Chesterton Road in North Kensington.
A first floor studio flat was damaged by fire. One woman left the property before the arrival of the Brigade and was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 1604 and the fire was under control at 1718. Fire crews from North Kensington, Paddington and Hammersmith fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
