Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to a fire at an industrial park on Collier Row Road.
Two cars and four storage containers were damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 1304 and the fire was under control at 1509. Fire crews from Dagenham, Romford and Hainault fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is believed to have been due to embers spreading to stored items such as cardboard and car parts surrounding an incinerator.
