Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire in shipping containers on Armstrong Way in Southall.

Six shipping containers were damaged by the blaze.

The Brigade was called at 2308 and the fire was under control by 0029. Fire crews from Southall, Hillingdon and Northolt fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
