Five fire engines and around 35 firefighters were called to a fire at a flat on Hallfield Estate in Westminster.
We received multiple calls about the fire, which damaged part of the fourth floor flat. There were no reports of any injuries and the building had been evacuated prior to fire crews arriving at the scene.
The Brigade was called at 1936 and the fire was under control at 2004. Fire crews attended from Paddington, Kensington, North Kensingtion and Soho.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
