A man was rescued by firefighters from a fire at a house in Tewson Road, Plumstead.
Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters attended the blaze at the terraced house.
The man was rescued from the ground floor of the property and treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service. Two other men left the property before the Brigade arrived.
The Brigade was called at 2104 and the incident was under control by 2144.
Fire Crews from Plumstead and Erith Stations attended the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
