Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a mid-terrace town house on Cranley Gardens in Kensington.
More than half of a roof terrace and a small part of the roof were damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade's 999 Control Officer took 15 calls to the blaze.
The Brigade was called at 1307 and the fire was under control by 1423. Fire crews from Fulham, Battersea, Soho and Paddington fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
