Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a library in Golborne Road in North Kensington.
A small section of a library was damaged by fire.
The fire, in a computer room in the library, was discovered by a member of staff before the building’s fire alarm went off. Three adults and a child left the building before firefighters arrived.
The Brigade was called at 1013 and the fire was under control by 1118. Fire crews from North Kensington and Paddington fire stations attended.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
