Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to a fire at a block of flats and offices on Oxendon Street in Covent Garden.
Part of an office on the third floor was damaged by the fire. Fifteen people left the building before the Brigade arrived. Three women and two men were treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service crews. One of the women and one of the men were taken to hospital.
The Brigade was called at 1544 and the fire was under control by 1700. Fire crews from Soho, Lambeth, Paddington, Dowgate and Islington fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
