Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a house on Western Road in Southall.
Half of the first floor of the house was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1004 and the fire was under control by 10:51. Fire crews from Hayes, Southall and Feltham fire stations attended the incident.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
