Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire in Estuary Close, Barking.
A shed and gazebo were completely destroyed by the blaze. Part of the rear of the property and a neighbouring property and areas of fencing and guttering were also damaged. One man left the property before the arrival of the Brigade. A woman and a child also left the neighbouring property as a precaution. One woman was treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service.
The Brigade was called at 1449 and the fire was under control by 1550. Fire crews from Barking, East Ham and Ilford fire stations attended the incident.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
