Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters were called to a fire at a shop with flats above on Green Lanes in Islington.
Part of the facia of the shop was damaged by the fire and a small part of a flat on the first floor was also damaged. Two women and one man left the building before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1232 and the fire was under control by 1400. Fire crews from Stoke Newington and Islington fire stations attended.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
