Firefighters tackled a blaze on a twenty foot river cruiser on the River Thames near Ham House.
Eight people were rescued from the water by a private boat before the Brigade was called. Three people were taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.
Brigade 999 Control took 32 calls to the very visible fire.
The Brigade was called at 1517 and the fire was under control by 1642. Fire crews from Heston, Kingston, Wembley and Croydon fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
