Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire and suspected gas explosion at an end of terrace shop with flats above on High Street in Hampton Hill.
Around 30 people were evacuated from affected properties.
The Brigade was called at 2011 and the incident was under control by 2240. Fire crews from Twickenham, Feltham and Heston fire stations were at the scene.
