Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a conservatory on Dandelion Close in Rush Green.
A conservatory at the rear of an end-of-terraced house was destroyed by the fire. One woman left the premises before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1339 and the fire was under control by 1428. Fire crews from Ilford, Hornchurch and Wennington fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
