Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters attended a factory fire on Raven Road in South Woodford.
Firefighters tackled a fire at the factory of a loft room staircase company, where a significant part of the two storey building was damaged by the fire.
The Brigade was called at 0130 and the fire was under control by 0301. Fire crews from Woodford, Leytonstone, Walthamstow, Chingford, Hainault, Ilford and Stratford fire stations attended.
The Brigade believe the cause of fire was hot embers from the incinerator igniting the paladin bins containing timber and sawdust.
