Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a house on Whitworth Road in South Norwood.
Part of the first floor and a small part of the loft space of a semi-detached house were damaged by the fire. Two people left the property before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1355 and the fire was under control by 1549. Fire crews from Woodside, West Norwood and Norbury fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
