Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a flat on Tarves Way in Greenwich.
A small part of a four-roomed flat on the fourth floor of the building was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1516 and the fire was under control by 1613. Fire crews from Greenwich, Deptford, East Greenwich and New Cross fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
