Firefighters rescued two men and a woman from a fire at a house on Keswick Avenue in Hornchurch.
Part of the ground floor of a terraced house was damaged by fire. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus rescued two men and a woman from a first floor bedroom who were assessed on scene by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 2340 and the fire was under control by 0017 (Saturday). Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters from Hornchurch, Dagenham and Romford fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
