Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters dealt with a fire at a derelict warehouse on Clapham Road near Oval underground station.
Part of the ground floor was damaged by the blaze. A man left the property before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1301 and the fire was under control by 1436. Fire crews from Lambeth, Old Kent Road, Clapham, Dowgate, Dockhead and Chelsea fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
