Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at an office building in Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars.
An air conditioning unit on the roof of the building was destroyed by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers took 11 calls to the fire.
The Brigade was called at 1721 and the fire was under control by 1808. Fire crews from Dowgate, Soho, Lambeth and Shoreditch fire stations attended the scene.
The Brigade’s Fire Investigators believe the fire was accidental and involved an air conditioning unit.
