Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a shop with flats above on Lady Margaret Road in Southall.
Part of the ground floor was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1829 and the fire was under control by 1939. Fire crews from Southall and Northolt fire stations attended the scene.
The Brigade's Fire Investigators believe the cause of the fire was accidental and involved an electrical supply.
