Flat fire - Tottenham

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a terraced ​house converted into flats on Harringay Road in Tottenham.

Half of a four-roomed flat on the second floor and a small part of the roof of the building were damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.

The Brigade's 999 Control Officers took 13 calls to the blaze.

The Brigade was called at 2146 and the fire was under control by 2318. Fire crews from Stoke Newington, Walthamstow and Hornsey fire stations attended.

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental and caused by the ignition of combustible materials near hot works.
