Sadly a woman has died following a fire at a house on Gordon Place in Kensington.
A small fire in the kitchen of a mid-terraced house was out by the time firefighters arrived. One woman was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews where she sadly later died. Two other women were treated for shock at the scene by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 1525 and the incident was over for firefighters by 1628. Three fire engines and around 20 firefighters from Kensington and Hammersmith fire stations attended.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
