Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to a fire at an industrial estate on Salisbury Road in Uxbridge.
Around 15 tonnes of waste over 40 square metres on land between industrial units was alight. Part of the external side of an industrial unit was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1426 and the incident was under control by 1720. Fire crews from Hillingdon, Hayes, Heathrow, Ruislip and Southall fire stations were on the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
