House fire - Tottenham

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a house on Beechfield Road in Tottenham. 

Part of the ground floor of a mid-terrace house was damaged by fire. One person left the building before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.

Station Manager Karl Smith, who was at the scene said: "Crews used cutting equipment to gain access and damp down pockets of fire beneath the floorboards on the ground floor."

The Brigade was called at 1159 and the fire was under control by 1340. Fire crews from Tottenham, Holloway and Hornsey fire stations were at the scene. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
