Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a detached public house on Main Road in Sidcup.
A single storey conservatory at the rear of the property was destroyed by fire. Part of the external side of the building was also damaged. There were no reports of any injuries.
Firefighters cooled two gas cylinders to an ambient temperature as some cylinders can explode when exposed to heat.
The Brigade's 999 Control Officers took 13 calls to the fire.
The Brigade was called at 2204 and the fire was under control by 2313. Fire crews from Sidcup, Eltham and Lee Green fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
