Fire at derelict building - Woolwich

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a derelict building on Beresford Street in Woolwich.

A small part of the first floor was damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.

The Brigade was called at 1406 and the fire was under control by 1526. Fire crews from Plumstead, East Greenwich and Eltham fire stations were at the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
